GPGS is for:
- Parents who are eager to parent better and well;
- Parents-to-be, trusting God and preparing for the arrival of their godly seeds;
- Unmarried young adults who are preparing ahead for the marital and parental journey
Why GPGS 2023?
The burden behind this summit as conceived is premised on this verse of scripture: Malachi 2:15. See what the Bible says,
“And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.” KJV
“God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse.” MSG
“Didn’t the Lord make you one with your wife? In body and spirit you are his. And what does he want? Godly children from your union. So guard your heart; remain loyal to the wife of your youth.” NLT
But you can’t give what you don’t have. Only godly couples can parent godly seeds. God is set to equip us with the right knowledge, skills and empowerment to succeed on this mission.
